Barb Bricker is a survivor of spousal abuse and is striving to be half the woman she used to be.

Barb is the proud mother of the three of the best kids. She lives in Nanaimo, is happily married and added 3 more kids and four grandsons to her family..."life is good".

She has spent the last 20 years working in the health care field. Everyday she loves giving individuals the peace and dignity to live their life as they choose. Barb is in the process of learning to love herself and states it's truly the hardest thing she has ever done. Speaking at She Talks YVR means the world to her. Her goal is to show at least one other person they can do the same.
